in this blog post I will be telling you about my experience as a dual enrollment student. Dual enrollment is when you are in 12th grade at a high school and you have the chance to take a collage class at a college to be able to get a head start on furthering your education. I currently go to Ridley High School, I take three classes there in the after noon 10:00 am to 2:34 pm. My three classes are painting, clay, and financial fitness. These classes are really fun and somewhat easy to understand ans take. I finished all my mandatory classes in 10th grade because I wanted to have a simple easy last year in high school. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I go to Delaware county community college to take an English class instead of taking my last English at my high school. I had to sign up for the class when I was in 11th grade. I'm happy that I took this class at the college instead of my school because I was planning on going to dccc for two years after high school before transferring to different college. This English class has been one of the best English classes I have ever taken. In high school they make you read mandatory boring books and do long tests and projects on them and in the end it didn't help your writing. In my college class we didn't have to read any long boring books, we actually got to work on papers that were interesting and held the classes attention span. I much preferred doing dual enrollment than taking any other English classes my high school had to offer. In the spring semester I am also going to be taking the second part of the English class at the college, this will hopefully put me ahead of the game so I could get all the mandatory classes out of the way so i could transfer to West Chester University faster.

I am glad to hear our approaches to writing proved helpful to you and helped to bridge the gap between high school and college. I look forward to talking to you about your final portfolio.
